Markham Napa Valley Vineyards is introducing The Altruist, a new Bordeaux-style red blend honoring community heroes. The new wine ($30 a 750-ml.) is a Merlot-based blend of Napa Valley grapes, predominantly from Markham’s estate vineyards. The launch coincides with Markham’s charitable donation to and partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, dedicated to honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. In addition, beginning with The Altruist, Markham is debuting new lightweight bottles across its line as part of its sustainability efforts. The Altruist is available nationwide.
