Château Climens Introduces Its First Dry Wine

Asphodèle debuts with the 2018 vintage and is available nationwide.

Bordeaux’s Château Climens, imported by Vineyard Brands, is introducing its first dry wine in the U.S. market. The newcomer, Asphodèle ($42 a 750-ml.), was made from 100% Sémillon, with Climens proprietor Berenice Lurton consulting with Sancerre winemaker Pascal Jolivet on the project.
