Cline Family Cellars Unveils Sonoma AVA Series

The new line features four wines, each sourced from specific vineyards in the region.

Sonoma, California-based Cline Family Cellars is launching a Sonoma AVA Series. The new collection consists of four varietal wines sourced from various appellations within Sonoma County. The first is Hat Strap Chardonnay ($25 a 750-ml.), which comes from the Cline family’s J. Poppe vineyard in Carneros. Next is Fog Swept Pinot Noir ($30), sourced from two Cline vineyards in the Sonoma Coast AVA near Petaluma. Eight Spur Zinfandel ($25) comes from Dry Creek Valley, and Rock Carved Cabernet Sauvignon ($30) is sourced from two vineyards in the Alexander Valley, one on the valley floor and another from the surrounding slopes to the south.
