Poema, a Cava producer from Penedès, Spain that is imported by Kobrand, is launching a new organic Cava. Poema Pura Organic Cava Brut ($15 a 750-ml.), is a Brut-style Cava made with grapes certified organic by the Catalan Council of Organic Production. Poema Pura is made with traditional, indigenous Penedès grape varieties Xarel·lo, Macabeu, and Parellada in Metodo Tradicional. Poema Pura Organic joins the winery’s lineup of four other small-batch Cavas produced in Penedès: Brut, Extra Dry, Dulce, and Rosé. It is now available nationwide.
