Louisville, Kentucky–based Michter’s Distillery announced that it will release the next bottling of its single barrel Bourbon in April. The new release of Michter’s Single Barrel Bourbon 10-year-old ($120 a 750-ml. bottle) is a Kentucky straight Bourbon that was aged in charred new American oak barrels. Last released in December, the 47.2-percent abv whiskey has dark toffee, maple syrup and charred oak flavors. The whiskey will be available in limited quantities nationwide.

Michter’s also launched a new bottling of its 10-year-old single barrel rye whiskey earlier this month. The launch is the product’s first release since 2014. Master distiller Willie Pratt opted not to bottle any of his older rye stocks in 2015, although they were already more than 10 years old, as he felt they would benefit from another year of maturation. Michter’s Single Barrel 10-year-old rye ($150 a 750-ml. bottle) has vanilla and toffee flavors, with hints of almond, cinnamon and crushed pepper. The 46.4-percent abv whiskey is also available nationwide in limited quantities. For more information, visit Michters.com.
