Napa Valley-based importer and marketer Demeine Estates has debuted Burgess Promiscua Cabernet Sauvignon, a new luxury offering. The new bottling’s ($145 a 750-ml.) name refers to the ancient Roman practice of Agricultura Promiscua, which incorporates a variety of crops throughout the vineyard to bolster the wider ecosystem. Promiscua is billed as the signature cuvee from Burgess’s Napa Valley estate vineyards: Quartz Creek, Sorenson’s Vineyard, and Clos Abeille. It is available nationwide.
