Scheid Family Wines Launches VDR The Notorious C.A.B.

The new Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced primarily from the winery’s Central Coast vineyards.

Scheid Family Wines has added the Notorious C.A.B., a new Cabernet Sauvignon, to its VDR (Very Dark Red) line of wines. The California Cabernet Sauvignon ($27 a 750-ml.) is from the 2021 vintage and is made with grapes sourced from Scheid’s estate holdings, primarily vineyards in the Central Coast, including San Lucas, Hames Valley, and Paso Robles. The new release is at 14.1% abv and also includes small portions of Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot. The Notorious C.A.B. is available across the U.S. For more information, visit Verydarkredwines.com.
