Shelbyville, Tennessee-based Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey has introduced a new brand extension, 1884 Premium Small Batch. The 46.55% abv Tennessee whiskey ($50 a 750-ml.) is 7 years old, and it’s named for the final year that Nathan “Nearest” Green barreled his whiskey before retiring. Each batch of Uncle Nearest 1884 is selected with input from a different Nearest Green descendant and will feature their signature on the back label.
