Australia’s Accolade Wines Launches California Cabernet

Grant Burge Paso Ink Cabernet Sauvignon is made with fruit from the Paso Robles AVA.

Australian winemaker Accolade Wines is launching its first label made with U.S. grapes. The new release ($20 a 750-ml.) is Grant Burge Paso Ink Cabernet Sauvignon, made with fruit from California’s Paso Robles AVA. It’s part of the Grant Burge brand, which has traditionally used fruit from Australia’s Barossa region, and was created by chief winemaker Craig Stansborough in collaboration with California native Ashley Leon.
