Beam Suntory has added Amarás Mezcal to its import portfolio through a new strategic partnership between the two companies. Under the deal, for which terms weren’t disclosed, Beam Suntory will import Amarás Mezcal and distribute its products through the company’s existing distributor network in several states across the U.S. beginning July 1. The Amarás portfolio includes the company’s namesake range made from Espadín agave, including Joven ($43 a 750-ml.), Reposado ($53), and Cupreata ($70) expressions; Amarás Logia, a series of higher-end mezcals made from a variety of agave plants ($100-$400); and Amarás Verde, an entry-level Espadín mezcal ($35).
