Westland Distillery Unveils Third Edition Of Colere Expression

The American single malt whiskey is aged in Westland barrels and Oloroso Sherry casks for 41 months.

Seattle’s Westland Distillery, part of the Rémy Cointreau portfolio, has released Colere Edition 3 American single malt whiskey, the latest release in the distillery’s Outpost Series. The 50% abv whiskey ($150 a 750-ml.) is distilled from Skagit Valley Malting Pilot Malt and matured in a combination of refill Westland barrels (93%) and second fill Oloroso Sherry casks (7%) and aged for about 41 months before bottling.
