FitVine Free Released

A line extension offers a new lineup of alcohol free wines

California’s O’Neill Vintners & Distillers is extending its 200,000-case FitVine brand with Free, a new offshoot billed as the first functional non-alcohol wine. Free ($16 a 750-ml.) has a base of California verjus, an early-harvest grape juice, and also contains electrolytes and an infusion of adaptogens including ginseng, passionflower, and other botanicals. The FitVine Free lineup includes Power Red (Petite Sirah), with flavors of blackberry, plum, blueberry, and oak; Sparkling White (Chardonnay), with flavors of apple, peach, oak, and white tea; and Sparkling Rosé (Pinot Noir), with flavors of raspberry, strawberry, and citrus blossom. The new Free lineup has no added sugar and has 35 calories a serving. FitVine Free is available nationwide. For more information, visit Fitvinewine.com.
