The wine blends Merlot and Petite Sirah from Lake County and is aged in Bourbon barrels from Kentucky.

California winemaker Iron Side Cellars is launching a Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Blend. The blend ($15 a 750-ml.) features Merlot and Petite Sirah grapes grown primarily in the Lake County AVA and aged in Bourbon barrels sourced from Kentucky.
