Kobrand Corp. has added Rebellious, a new upscale California red blend, to its portfolio. Rebellious ($25 a 750-ml.) blends 44% Zinfandel, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 7% Petite Sirah, 7% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre, 3% Malbec, and 1% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Sonoma and Mendocino. Kobrand president and CEO Robert DeRoose said Rebellious addresses “the dramatic movement toward premiumization” in the California red blend category in recent years.
