Laura Catena Partners With MundoVino On Domaine Nico

The new brand focuses on high-altitude Pinot Noir from individual parcels in Mendoza, Argentina.

Laura Catena has partnered with Winebow’s MundoVino division to introduce Domaine Nico, a new brand focusing on high-altitude Pinot Noir from individual parcels in Mendoza, Argentina. The project is over a decade in the making, initially taking root in 2008 with the goal of growing uniquely Argentine Pinot Noir through the work of winemaker Roy Urvieta and viticulturist Belén Iacono, under the guidance of Catena and winemaking director Alejandro Vigil. The initial releases for the brand include the 2017 Grand Mère ($30 a 750-ml.), 2017 Grand Père ($30), 2017 Histoire d’A ($50), 2017 La Savante ($50), and 2016 Le Paradis ($350).
