J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines introduced a limited-edition wine in honor of Jerry Lohr’s 80th birthday in January. The 2013 J. Lohr Signature Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon ($100 a 750-ml. bottle) is made using high-altitude Cabernet from winegrower Steve Beck and estate Merlot from Paso Robles’ El Pomar District, as well as a small amount of Napa Valley Petit Verdot. Riboli Family Wine Estates has extended its San Simeon wine brand with a super-premium Bordeaux-style red blend.
