Plumpjack Introduces Adaptation Cabernet Sauvignon

The wine blends Cabernet, Merlot, and Petite Sirah and is available nationwide.

Napa, California’s The Plumpjack Collection of Wines has released Adaptation, the company’s latest Napa Cab. The wine ($78 a 750-ml.) from the 2018 vintage, is sourced from vineyards in Howell Mountain, Oak Knoll, Stags Leap, and Carneros, and is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and 2% Petite Sirah. The wine was made by Jeff Owens and aged in 50% new oak and 50% one-fill oak barrels for 18 months before bottling. Adaptation is now available nationwide.
