Bollinger Unveils 2007 RD Champagne

The vintage pays tribute to Lily Bollinger, who led the company from 1941 to 1971.

Bollinger is set to debut RD 2007, a vintage bottling paying tribute to Lily Bollinger, who led the business from 1941 to 1971. The 2007 RD ($300 a 750-ml.) is an old vintage released shortly after its disgorgement and with a very low dosage, as Madame Bollinger released a 1952 vintage offering in 1967. The new release features labeling resembling that same 1952 vintage. A blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, it’s composed of grapes from 14 crus, of which 91% are grand crus and 9% are premier crus. 2007 Bollinger RD is available nationwide.
