Sagamore Spirit Latest Edition Of Its Port Finish Rye

The rye whiskey spent for six years in American oak followed by three years in port barrels from Maryland’s Boordy Vineyards.

Maryland’s Sagamore Spirit has released the third iteration of its Port Finish rye whiskey. This year’s batch ($100 a 750-ml.) boasts the longest finishing and aging time of any of the releases: the rye spent six years in American oak before maturing an additional three years in port barrels sourced from Maryland’s Boordy Vineyards. The whiskey is bottled at 51.5% abv. It’s now available in select retailers across the U.S., as well as at Sagamore Spirit’s Baltimore distillery. For more information, visit Sagamorespirit.com.
