Cava producer Segura Viudas, part of the Freixenet Mionetto portfolio, has launched a new certified-organic offering. Made in Spain’s DO Penedès, Segura Viudas Cava Made with Organic Grapes ($13 a 750-ml.) marks the first organic Cava in the brand’s lineup. Based on the ongoing demand for organic expressions, the winery plans on qualifying all of its sparklers for organic certification by 2022. The new bubbly is rolling out nationwide.
